With 400,000 Apps, The Android Market Is Poised To Pass Apple’s App Store
Apple’s App Store still has a greater selection with more than 500,000 apps, but Distimo says the Android Market is closing the gap. Google had 300,000 apps as of August 2011, so it only took four months to reach 400,000. It took Apple seven months to jump from 300,000 to 400,000 apps.
