This is one surprise that cannot be taken likely since this is a genuine leak, in many fronts. There have been various shots of the latest Google OS. It is not numbered as 2.4, after clair, Froyo, and Gingerbread, nor is it labeled as 4.0, after Honeycomb for tablets. In fact, the name only goes as IceCreamSandwich, as simple as it looks and sounds. It is running on Google Nexus S, and it carries a different look as far as the UI is concerned, and also with icon appearances.
It now has a task switcher, just like the new Android Market app, and its camera enhancement now includes a panorama mode. Gmail also is revamped with a whole new look, NFC will be supported, and Google Shopper will be included upon installation. There would also be features that are integrated from Honeycomb. Although the leak has used Nexus S, Ice Cream Sandwich will be first released via the Google Nexus Prime.
