Vodafone director of small business Rob Shardlow will leave the company at the end of the month to be replaced by director of wholesale Tim Stone
Vodafone director of small business Rob Shardlow (pictured) will leave the company at the end of March it has been announced.
Shardlow who joined Vodafone in 2009 was at the forefront of the creation of Vodafone’s partner services programme that launched in September last year.
He will be replaced by director of wholesale Tim Stone who has been responsible for overseeing the growth of that business which has included the addition of MVNO’s and device partners such as Lebara, Asda and Amazon.
Stone has also worked in consumer sales, retention and investment at Vodafone as director of commercial operators, where he was tasked with managing consumer channels and relationships with Vodafone partners such as the Carphone Warehouse.
The departure of Shardlow and his subsequent replacement by Stone has lead to a management reshuffle at the operator.
Nick Parbutt who is currently head of enterprise commercial will replace Stone as director of wholesale – Parbutt joined Vodafone in 2000 and has held positions including head of strategy and pricing and head of products.
Parbutt is then replaced by Sundar Bharadwaj who is currently head of strategy and transformation – customer relations. Bharadwaj has been at Vodafone since 2006.
Finally Antonio Shabbir will join Vodafone from T-Mobile to take over from Bharadwaj.
Shabbir has been at T-Mobile since 2000 where he has held positions as customer operations sales director, head of customer relationship management and head of service strategy.
