Boost Mobile intros International Connect, features unlimited texts to anyone, anywhere
Here’s something that might entice you to sign-up with Boost Mobile. The carrier has just rolled a new add-on service that allows you to call unlimited to Canada, and send countless text messages to anywhere in the world. For $5/month, that’s what you get, but if you want unlimited international calling to go with that, it’ll be $10/month. A bit more pricey, but still not that expensive. Now, who says you can’t get unlimited service for international call and text?

Windows Phone 7 browser aces the HTML5 drawing test
One of the new features in the upcoming WP7 Mango update is its mobile IE 9 browser. The desktop version is getting rave reviews, and from the looks of it, it’s mobile counterpart is just as good. Microsoft demoed it in a showdown with mobile Safari and Android Gingerbread’s Browser in an HTML5 speed reading test, and IE9 blew the competition away. IE 9’s 20fps vs mobile Safari’s 2fps vs Gingerbread’s 11fps; the numbers speak for itself.

Telus Nexus S just got $50 price drop to $149.99 on a 3-year agreement
Speaking of the new Goohle phone, Telus has finally lowered their 3-year contract price of their Nexus S. It’s now retailing for just $149.99, $30 cheaper than before. It may now be more affordable, but it’s still not the most enticing offer around as Rogers and company have theirs priced at around the $100 price point with a 3-year agreement.
But hey, if the price drop we’ve been hoping for came true, who knows, maybe in a week’s time it’ll go down to $100 as well. Here’s to wishful thinking.
