Distributor Micro-P makes move to adjacent office site in Basingstoke, increasing floor space by 35 per cent, and also expands Lancashire warehouse space by 25 per cent
IT and mobile distributor Micro-P has moved to a new headquarters, 35 per cent larger than its old site.
The new offices, which measure 17,500 square feet, are adjacent to its old headquarters in Basingstoke.
Micro-P has also expanded its warehouse facility in Altham, Lancashire, from 120,000 to 150,000 square feet, retaining its option to purchase the land if it requires further warehouse space down the line.
Micro-P managing director Gerry O’Keeffe said: “The challenge has been to grow the space and retain the intensity of the old site.
“We now have certain break-out rooms and meeting areas, but the focus is very much on deskspace.
“The new building is a more usable space, because the layout is more open, and gives us the option to grow staff numbers. It is a great way to start the new year.”
