Sony Ericsson’s Symbian-powered Vivaz looks to be getting an update, with a leak outlining an Android-powered successor.
Mobile Review have a very detailed overview of the phone — also known as the MT15i or Halon — including more pics than you can shake a megapixel at. The skinny of it all, though, is the juicy, juicy specs, which I’ve compiled for you below.
Android 2.3
1 GHz ARM 7 processor
512 MB of RAM
8MP camera with Exmor sensor and 720p video recording
480×854 “Bravia-quality” display
HDMI port
1500mAh battery
Apparently, SE’s Timescape skin hasn’t changed a great deal, but does run a heap better on the newer hardware. One change, however, is the ability to sort the application grid based on date installed, or frequency of use, rather than just having it come up alphabetically, as on other Android builds.
It should launch in April for somewhere around €320–350. There is no word just yet on a US release.
