Distributor says it has scooped exclusive rights ahead of 20:20 and Brightstar to distribute new LG device across the UK from July 8
Data Select has claimed to have beaten rival LG distributors 20:20 Mobile and Brightstar to land exclusive distribution rights for the LG Optimus 3D.
The deal has been described as the ‘coup of the year’ by Data Select chief commercial officer Roy Taylor (pictured).
The decision to award the contract, which will commence on July 8, to Data Select was, according to Taylor based on its “industry leading customer base”, its “strong business plan” and its “Platinum Club support structure”.
The Optimus 3D will be backed by a multi-million pound marketing campaign to drive consumer demand, with Data Select ofering marketing funding, seeding samples and training to dealers and resellers.
“It’s a fantastic win for Data Select. For LG to place their trust in one distributor for a product of this magnitude shows just what we can do in the market, and the strenght of our relatiosnhip with LG,” Taylor said.
