Elop Still Plans on Dropping MeeGo In Spite of Foreseen N9 and N950 Success

Last week was one of the most special weeks that Nokia has encountered so far, for 2011. The N9 was presented to most individuals for an actual review, the N950 was pictured for the press, and the Windows Phone Mango was introduced to the press with the codename Sea Ray. Most people who have held the N9 and who are anticipating the N950 are positive that the large screen Harmattan wonders will sell for many smartphone lovers. These positive feedbacks coming from various sources are for naught however, since Stephen Elop is firm in dropping MeeGo.

After all, his primary plan is to have Windows as the company’s main smartphone operating system for a while. Many are already wondering why would something be so successful be ditched away so fast. With that news on the road, expect that there will be more phones coming out with unique physical features having all that Windows Phone goodness inside.
