Nokia Windows Phone 7 to be Launched in 6 European Countries

Despite of challenges with their financial woes, Nokia was still able to manage pursuing the Windows Phone 7 integration on their newest smartphone. There has been no official name yet, nor has there been any idea on the particular specs, but Nokia Europe VP Victor Saeijs mentioned at the 2011 Mobile Telecompaper conference that there would be six European countries that will experience the first offering of the Nokia-Windows collaboration. Netherlands is on the top of the list due to the handset’s 80% market penetration.

Five others are to follow completing the list – France, Germany, UK, Spain, and Italy. Everyone may be curious enough why Finland was not included on the shortlisted countries to get a taste of the WP7 in Nokia. Saeijs has also confirmed that the launch of the new units will be by the end of the year, even pushing that he is carrying a prototype for himself, maybe just bluffing, as he did not show it to the press.
