Nuance Communications, Inc. today announced that Nuance’s innovative Dragon Dictation voice technology enables the voice recognition capabilities behind the new LG Voice-to-Text application for its LG Optimus Windows Phone 7 devices. Users can quickly and easily speak text for emails, SMS text messages, status updates for Twitter and Facebook, memos, and more, and it is currently available for free on the Microsoft Windows Phone Marketplace.
Nuance’s renowned voice technology at the core of LG Voice-to-Text has been experienced by millions around the world via Dragon Dictation and Dragon Search, as well as the popular Dragon NaturallySpeaking and Dragon Dictate desktop software. And Nuance’s broad language support enables the application to support U.S. English and Spanish, UK English, French, Italian, German, and European Spanish.

The application is currently available for download for free on the Microsoft Windows Phone Marketplace for the AT&T LG Optimus 7 in U.S. English and U.S. Spanish, and for the LG Optimus 7Q shipping in Europe in UK English, French, Italian, German and European Spanish.
