T-Mobile USA has issued an update on the price of its Galaxy S 4G, which should be released this Wednesday.
Primarily, the carrier said the new Galaxy would cost $149.99 on contract. However, this press release states that the actual price on contract will be $199.99 (after a $50 mail-in rebate).
Of course, that’s the price if you’ll get the smartphone directly from T-Mobile. Some retailers will sell it for less – Wal-Mart, for example, will have it for $148.88. Unlike the Galaxy S Vibrant (currently available at T-Mobile for $49.99 on contract), the Galaxy S 4G will be launched with Android 2.2, a front-facing camera, and support for T-Mo’s speedy HSPA+ network.
