The HTC Desire was a very successful smartphone when HTC first unleashed the device and during Mobile world Congress 2011 in Barcelona, HTC further expanded their Desire line by launching the HTC Desire S handset.

But does the HTC Desire S live up to its predecessor’s moniker? Well let’s find out as we have a video hands-on with the Android packing HTC Desire S for your viewing pleasure below.

The HTC Desire S hands-on footage comes our way courtesy of Noah Kraviz of TechnoBuffalo who managed to get some time up close and personal with the thinner, Android 2.3 Gingerbread and HTC Sense 2.1 sporting HTC Desire S.

The HTC Desire S packs a 3.7 inch touch screen, front facing camera, Aluminium unibody making the device stronger and lighter, 1GHz Qualcomm processor, 768MB RAM, and a 5 megapixel rear camera with flash and 720p video.
