An HTC representative has confirmed that the T-Mobile G2 will be updated to Android 2.3 Gingerbread during the second quarter of the year, following the launch of the device late last year. The T-Mobile G2 is notable for launching with a near-stock Android Froyo build free of extensive carrier modifications.
