Nokia C6-01, which is one of the world’s newest Symbian Touch screen handsets, has been finally launched in India.
This smartphone should be available for 18,299 INR, which is about €294, or $400. For sure that’s not a high price-at least not compared to how much the Nokia E7 will cost in India (whenever it will be released there).
However, unlike E7, the C6-01 is just a mid-range handset, which offers a lot, including a Wi-Fi, Ovi Maps with free navigation, 360×640 pixels Clear Black Display, GPS, and an 8MP camera with 720p video recording. Well it’s quiet astounding to know that the C6-01 has recently received a software update that brings Ovi Maps integration in email, plus some tweaks and fixes-although not sure that if this will have any impact on customer’s decision to buy it or not.
